About Nemo
Location: Hervey Bay, QLD
Since rescuing beautiful Nemo from death row recently, she has been spending her time with her foster carer and his dog, playing, snuggling and being reminded that humans aren't going to give up on her.
Nemo gets her name from her oddly formed right ear and she is a gem of a dog and will be the most loyal companion for her human/s. We don't know anything her history, though from her behaviour, we can see that she needs a home where she has near constant human company and plenty of love and attention. Nemo gets along well with other dogs, seemed okay with cats on her visit to the vet and is just an absolute sweet heart! If left alone, Nemo does fret and will need to be kept on a chain or inside. Ideally, we are looking for a forever family who can take this beautiful girl everywhere with them or never leaves her without human company so that she feels safe, secure and a part of the family. If you would like to meet this sweet girl, please get in contact and we can organise a meet and greet.
Medical notes
Nemo is micro-chipped. Transfer of details upon adoption.
Adoption details
Fraser Coast Animal Rescue house all our dogs in care with foster carers in family homes. This allows the dogs to experience life in family situations with other dogs, cats, children, chooks and various other domestic animals. This gives us an opportunity to discover their traits and personalities, likes and dislikes, and which dogs would suit which family dinamics.
We offer a 14 day trial period for all potential adoptees so they can see if the dog they have chosen is a fit with their family situation. Their is a $50 refundable deposit paid on the commencement of the trial period, which comes off the balance of the adoption fee should you wish to formally adopt your chosen dog. If you decide that the dog doesn't fit with your family, the dog will be retured into foster care, and the full balance of the deposit is refunded to you with no fees or charges.
If you wish to arrange a meet and greet with one of our dogs in care, please call Caitlyn on 0455 551 036 or email caitlyn.hulse@hotmail.com
The committee and carers of Fraser Coast Animal Rescue are all volunteers, so please be patient with us if we dont answer your enquiries straight away.
