Turbo

Hi everyone, my name is Turbo!

I am a big, young energetic boy looking for a new fur-ever family. I absolutely adore going for long runs with my human companion so would love a family that could give me the daily exercise that I desire. My human minions are fantastic - they give me pats and cuddles. I sometimes like to think I am a lap dog despite my size, but the humans don't mind!

I didn't have the best start in life and I've come to the shelter with very minimal training; so I will benefit from going to dog obedience school. It would also be a great opportunity to meet some new friends!

I can be quite boisterous with other dogs, however I am very friendly. Sometimes I just forget how big I am, oops! I've never really had many doggy friends before coming to the shelter, so learning how to meet new dogs has been a learning curve.

I've been doing some training with the staff at Blue Cross, but will need ongoing obedience training to continue with my doggy manners. My humans at Blue Cross say they are very impressed with how fast I am learning!

Cats and other small animals are very overwhelming, and young children can be as well so I am best to go to a home that doesn't have these things already.
