Luna & Phoenix

Two adorable, delightful girls who would be totally lost without each other, they aren't related but they are as close as two sisters or bff’s could possibly be.
Their carers would like to share a bit about the girls they have affectionately nicknamed the 'Fluffkie’s'

Luna
As mystical as her name sake, Luna has many faces: her rich character ranges from loving, sensitive, quiet, mischievous and of course, typical Husky energy.
Luna is a smaller husky who can display spoilt princess tendencies, liking to be the Boss Pup or Queen Bee. Even though she is the younger of the two, she is in charge. Luna loves her sister Phoenix and the rough and tumble play time with her. But Luna's absolute fav thing she enjoys most is zipping, dashing and zooming around the yard and thrives on the chance to mischievously explore the out-door environment, yes that means nooks and crannies, hiding places and spaces you didn’t know existed. As much as she loves being outside this doesn’t mean you won’t get to snuggle and love her. She is very affectionate and would love to be able to come inside and snuggle with you, which would the highlight of her day. Car rides are exciting and Luna loves to explore new locations and places, so she and her sister would be the perfect hiking or exploring companion. She loves to express her feelings but not with the usual husky whoo's, she prefers to vocalize and express her desires with little funny yaps.
Phoenix
Phoenix is the yin to Luna’s yang. As the older and wiser of the two, beautiful Phoenix is so tolerant and really as gentle as a kitten. Phoenix loves Luna, and even though she is older than Luna she takes a lot of cues from her. She could hardly be more perfect as the companion to Luna and the family member you’ve always dreamed of. She is a soft-natured dog with a big heart for loving. Phoenix is a typically quiet girl apart from her excitement at going for walkies and sweet husky talk when greeting you first thing in the morning. Even though she took a while to learn to trust her foster humans, she now loves them and would be able to similarly settle into her forever home. Like her sister Luna, a family with older children would suit her, although she is ok with smaller children as well when meeting them out and about. Other dogs are a source of mild interest and she is friendly with them. One thing to note is that Phoenix can be slightly timid of strangers and noisy cars going by when being walked. However, this does not hinder the walk and with gentle, reassuring words she is fine. Otherwise, Phoenix loves her walkies, her car rides and her dinner. Like most Huskies, she loves finding things in the garden to chew on which is just part and parcel of having a young Husky. Good quality chew toys and plenty of mental stimulation will help keep Phoenix and her sister preoccupied though. She loves rough and tumble games with Luna and is very tolerant of her rough play. Both Phoenix and Luna love raw meaty bones and Phoenix stoically tolerates Luna lying literally centimetres away begging for a chew on the leftovers when Luna went and buried hers! She is so understanding of Luna, she is a true delight. Phoenix’s gorgeous nature means we did not have much more to say other than that she is just divine! Her tolerance of Luna’s antics and her own sweet character make her hard to say no to.
Luna and Phoenix have learnt many good manners from her foster family like sit, wait and come. Both girls would make a great jogging buddy if that's your thing and daily walks are a must.
The girls are still learning, so they will need experienced adults who can continue to guide them to be their best.
Older school-age children would be fine, but no young children or toddlers.
The fluffkies will thrive in a home that can give them a lot of attention, ongoing training, lots of activities and above all, endless cuddles and loads of love.
