About Fletch *On Trial in His New Home*
*FLETCH IS CURRENTLY TRIALING HIS NEW HOME - NO MORE ENQUIRIES/APPLICATIONS PLEASE* Meet Fletch!! He’s looking for a loving home with a doggie door so he can come and go as he pleases; will it be with you??
Rehoused by us as a 6 month old puppy unfortunately a change in his owner’s circumstances almost 7 years later means Fletch is back in our care, so we’re hoping to find a similar home to what he’s been used to where he can be spoiled with either retirees, a part-timer worker, stay-at-home mum or someone who works from home and no cats, birds or other pocket pets as he’s a little too interested in those, but another playful dog would be awesome! Oh and he must sleep inside at night in his doggie bed; luckily he’s housetrained and very well behaved indoors :)
Fletch is a friendly, affectionate dog who loves humans of all shapes and sizes especially children. Having not lived with another dog in his past life and having little socialisation with others Fletch can be fussy with those he meets though he’s good with the male and female pug he’s in care with and as you can see from his video he has an absolute ball with his foster carer’s young, large breed puppy they play and play for hours! He also enjoys playing with doggie toys and has been known to amuse even himself with his antics!

Described as a tactile dog Fletch is happiest when he’s following you around as you go about your daily business or curled up in his bed or on the couch if he can get away with it. He has lovely manners and doesn’t usually jump up on you unless asked. Fletch knows ‘sit’ and will do anything for a Schmacko which will help with any further training you’d like to do with him, and he knows his name and has good recall. He also walks brilliantly on a lead and enjoys getting out and about.
Weighing in at 13.5kgs Fletch isn’t too small or too big; he’s a nice compact size dog who travels well in a car. He’s also a good little watchdog without being overly yappy. A secure yard, daily walks, bones to chew on and toys to play with in an indoor/outdoor lifestyle will make Fletch very happy indeed!

Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
