About Piper
Introducing this playful puppy, Piper! Piper loves a cuddle, loves a run and loves a good feed. She is very clever and quick to understand what is wanted of her.
Piper and her siblings, who are also looking for homes, are all very happy, social little puppies. They are learning basic behaviours such as walking nicely on the leash and patience, and basic obedience - sit, stay, come, shake, down and stand. All the pups are doing well with crate training and toilet training, and have now started sleeping through the night without a peep.
Piper currently lives with four of her siblings, as well as 6 older dogs ranging from 9 months to 10 years. She has been great with all of them and is learning to respect the older dogs space. She loves to play with her siblings, however is quite submissive towards the bigger/older dogs. Piper would benefit from having a gentle, mature doggy companion in her new home, to help her settle in and provide her with some entertainment when left alone.
Piper is the biggest in her litter and will continue to grow medium-large in size. Due to this, it is recommended that she attend obedience classes with her new owner to help form a bond, obey around distractions and socialise with other dogs and people while still in the puppy stage. This will help her to grow into a well-behaved and balanced adult dog.
Piper has met sheep, and only seems interested in playing with them. She has not yet been tested with cats, but I feel her response will be the same.
If you believe Piper might be the right fit for your family, we would love to hear from you!
Piper is located in Ballarat.
Adoption details
If you think one of our animals would be a good match for your home please email us and we will be in touch shortly after. We all work fulltime, have families and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require any other dogs in your home meeting our foster animal before they head home with you. This enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care, this is a condition of our Adoptions.
