Chester ~ 6mo JR x Staffy puppy (On trial 14/4/17)

Introducing Chester the Jester! This funny little man is a 6 month old Jack Russell x Staffy puppy. Chester is full of beans - a lovely little man with the heart of a Staffy in the body of a Jack Russell, weighing just 9.5kgs.

Chester adores people and children although he can be very full on for young children as he wants to jump on everyone and give them kisses. He is very excitable and loves all the new experiences life brings - he even loves going to the vets. He gets on well with other dogs and lives to play with them. He would suit a home with no cats and definitely no pocket pets or birds.

Chester will keep everyone entertained for hours. Chester loves water and regular swims in his clam shell pool. He has been mainly out doors but is slowly being house trained. He travels well in the car, but pulls a little on the leash while walking. He is good indoors and doesn’t go too crazy although he loves to wrestle with the other dogs inside. He currently sleeps outside in a kennel.

Chester would suit an active family who will take him for regular long walks and spend a lot of time with him. He can live on his own or with another dog although another dog will help stop him from being bored as he is high energy, especially if the family works. If he lives with another dog he will be required to be fed separately as he tends to gulp his food down and every other scrap of food he can find or steal. He may bark if other dogs bark or if someone walks past his yard. Some extra training would be great as it would help him be entertained plus fine tune his manners.

Chester is a pup so full of life and fun that he will fill his new home with laughter and love..

Chester is located in Rutherford, NSW (west of Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.

Chester's adoption fee is $450 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered. You can see all of our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au
