About Fergie ~ 1yo loving Mastiff x(on trial 22/4/17)
Introducing Fergie, a beautiful Mastiff x girl, only 12 months old. Fergie is a medium-sized, loving natured dog who adores cuddles and attention.
Fergie came to me 3 months ago, thin, timid and very scared. With love and patience Fergie has become a loving, loyal dog. A quick learner, she walks on lead well and excels with basic commands. She is good to handle, easy to bath and vet check.
Fergie is fully house trained and has good manners. She is great with children and perfect with other dogs. We are not sure whether she gets along with cats or pocket pets.
Fergie is still nervy at first and requires a gentle voice to reassure her confidence. She needs a female primary carer as she is petrified of males. Fergie would suit at best a 2 dog home. She needs an owner who has time to walk, play and continue to train her. She is a gentle and caring girl who deserves a wonderful home - she will give so much love in return.
For more information or to meet Fergie, please contact her foster mum Brune on 0413 351 057 or email amanda.rescue1@gmail.com. Fergie is located in Greta, NSW (west of Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Fergie's adoption fee is $350 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered. You can see all of our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
