**tomi is trialling his new home**

tomi is a real old school spritely little gentleman. He loves to trot along on his lead - - it is a very important part of his daily ritual - - his little walk, sniffing and taking in the sights. He is not really interested in other people or dogs -- just likes to get on with his walk and check out the smells of the day. He will always stop and say hello if spoken too- - he does enjoy a little chat but won't have people holding him up!!

tomi is a little sweetie and just wants to go for little walks - - he loves trotting around on his lead as fast as his little legs will take him - - and little they are. He would be best away from children as he is older and is probably not tolerant to tough unpredictable play -- he is more of a retired gentleman and doesn't appreciate being treated as a little playful pup -- it is terribly undignified!! our existing dog hamlet often accompanies us on our walkies and tomi is quite tolerant of hamlet - in fact, quite happy for hamlet to come along - - he does give a bit of a growly when hamlet tries to take over the situation eg: leaping and twirling in tomi's face. But really quite a circus and rather amusing. Tomi is not suited to a home with cats, he really doesn't like them very much -- he needs a quieter home where he can be a faithful companion and just hang out and do 'whatever' with his owner. Tomi would be quite happy to be the only dog. He has excellent manners - - -hopped straight into the car -- back seat

tomi travels well in the car and he is the perfect companion doggy in every sense of the word - - if you're gardening, strolling down for the paper, feet up reading the news, having a cuppa he will be right there with you. He is very independent but likes to be around you as well. Tomi deserves to have a peaceful life where he can stop and 'smell the roses' and be no. 1 dog in someones life.
