About Henry
Location: Childers, Qld
Dearest Henry was rescued from the pound. He very narrowly dodged his euthanasia date. We are so thankful that we managed to get to him in time as he is such a lovely boy! Henry is a social butterfly. He loves kids, gets along well with other dogs and loves nothing better than a good frolic under the hose! When he isn't out playing, he quite enjoys lounging around, sometimes hanging out in his foster carers mango tree pretending he is a bird-dog as you can see from one of his photos! Henry is looking for a family who will be prepared to continue working on his basic obedience with him and who don't own chickens. Secure 6 foot fencing will be required. Henry hasn't been fully tested with cats, though on a trip to the vet, he met some through the bars of their cage and only wanted a sniff and then was uninterested. So we believe that if he was introduced to a cat/s slowly, he would be fine. Ideally, we would love to see Henry go to a home with plenty of room to run around and play. If you would like to meet our lovely, happy Henry, get in contact today!
Medical notes
Henry is micro-chipped. Transfer of details upon adoption.
Adoption details
Fraser Coast Animal Rescue house all our dogs are in care with foster carers in family homes. This allows the dogs to experience life in family situations with other dogs, cats, children, chooks and various other domestic animals. This gives us an opportunity to evaluate their traits and personalities, likes and dislikes, and which dogs would suit which family dynamics.
We offer a 14 day trial period for all potential adoptees so they can see if the dog they have chosen is a good fit with their family. There is a $50 refundable deposit paid on the commencement of the trial period, which comes off the balance of the adoption fee should you wish to formally adopt your chosen dog. If you decide that the dog doesn't fit with your family, the dog will be returned into foster care, and the full balance of the deposit is refunded to you with no fees or charges.
If you wish to arrange a meet and greet with one of our dogs in care, please call Dianne on 0400346347 or email dianne.north@hotmail.com
The committee and carers of Fraser Coast Animal Rescue are all volunteers, so please be patient with us if we don't answer your enquiries straight away.
