I've been adopted!
About Keira *Free to adopt in April*
Hi I'm Keira and I'm an affectionate, talkative, engaging kitty who has a strong personality that will fill your home with smiles.
I've had a pretty rough time lately; my family didn't bother to get me desexed then when I got pregnant, they didn't want me anymore! So that was pretty upsetting in itself. But THEN, instead of surrendering me to a rescue group or handing me in to a vet clinic or ranger... they took me and dumped me at the rubbish tip, like junk they didn't want. How sad is that??
Luckily, a nice lady who was coming to the tip picked me up and took me home. I had my babies on her couch that very night!! Then she handed me over to SAFE, who has been looking after me ever since. It's been a pretty tumultuous time for me over the past few months but my kittens are big and healthy and ready to find new homes of their own now, so I'm finally ready for my next chapter.
I will fit in to most homes as I am not too nervous and will settle in quickly. I could learn to live with a dog pending an appropriate introduction and would be good with kids. I do, however, need to be the only kitty in the home.Or, you could adopt me with one of my super cute sons!
Please come and meet me today so I can start my new chapter. I can't wait!
*I AM LOCATED IN NORTHAM BUT MEETS/ADOPTIONS CAN BE ARRANGED IN THE METRO AREA*
For the month of April, all SAFE Avon Valley cats over the age of 6 months will be FREE to adopt!
All cats are sterilised, microchipped, vaccinated, flea/worm treated, FIV/FeLV tested and vet checked.
Over the busy Summer months we have been inundated with cats and kittens who are stray, abandoned, unwanted and mistreated. We find ourselves with many gorgeous adult cats in desperate need of new loving families to call their own and we hope that by waiving the adoption fee we can match some of these kitties up with suitable adopters.
Normal adoption procedures apply and donations towards adoptions are very greatly appreciated as the veterinary care provided to the cats still costs us!
Adoption details
Thank you for taking the time to view one of our lovely animals. We love them all and we hope you will too.
If you would like to know more about an animal please call Freedom on 0409 000 259. If it sounds like you and the furry creature are a suitable match then we will pass on the foster carer’s details to you so you can call and make a time to meet them.
Once you have met the animal and wish to go further then we may organise a yard check to ensure that your yard is safe and secure (dogs only). You can then take your new family member home on a 2 week trial and if you decide they are not suitable then you can return them.
If you are not sure how existing animals in your home might be affected, or you want a little extra time to get to know the nature of the animal, we may allow you to foster with a view to adopt.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
