About Scooby
Meet Scooby, the very handsome 10 month old Bulldog x who is waiting to find his new loving forever home.
Scooby came to the facility after being attacked by two other dogs and although he is all healed, this has resulted in him being fearful of other dogs. This fear may lead to aggression and he will need to be rehomed as an only dog.
When tested with cats, Scooby seemed quite curious and a little scared of them. We believe that with a slow proper introduction, he would be able to be rehomed with a cat.
Scooby loves to be out and about exploring the world and has very nice lead manners. He also likes to run and would make a great jogging companion.
A little shy when meeting new people, Scooby soon warms up and his playful personality shines through. He will sometimes jump - but this is always only for affection and never for aggressive reasons. Being still young and as Scooby is a very smart lad, with positive training, this could be resolved Included in Scooby's adoption fee are 3 free dog training classes to help with this.
He shows no signs of food aggression or seperation anxiety, however he can be fearful of loud noises and would need to be allowed inside during thunder storms and fireworks.
Scooby will thrive in an environment that guides him with positive direction and lots of love and attention. He is a very very affectionate boy and will make a wonderful new family member to a lucky family. Scooby is looking for a calm and patient new owner, who is understanding of his past and is prepared to make sure he knows all the good things in life.
All the things that he so deserves.
Scooby's adoption fee is $405 and includes his desexing, vaccinations and lifetime registration. Scooby is also regularly treated for flea and worms.

Adoption details
Please phone or email us to find out more information on our animals. You will be asked to fill in a questionnaire. This questionnaire is confidential and does not oblige you to adopt, or guarantee you the animal. The information you provide helps the facility to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home.
Once the questionnaire and any questions you may have are approved and answered, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the facility unless prior arrangements are made by management.
After the meet and greet, a yard check will be completed at your home to ensure that your home and yard is suitable for the kind of pet you are interested in.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
