About Zoe ~ 5yo Terrier x girl (On Trial 6/4/17)
Hi, my name is Zoe! I am a 5 year old female mixed terrier. I am quite small – only weighing 6 kg.
If you are looking for an affectionate dog then I am your girl! I like nothing better than sitting on or with my foster mum and in particular, my foster dad. I also love kids - I have been exposed to kids from 5 years to 12 years whilst in foster care and I love them all. I am so excited when the grandchildren arrive. I love to play ball and follow them around.
I am house trained and only have accidents when I cannot get outside. I am an inside dog and I love to just be with the family all the time. I sleep inside on the lounge with my blanket, and if I can my favourite place to sleep is in bed with my foster mum and dad.
Whilst in foster care I have been living with three small dogs, I get along well with them all. I would love a home with another small dog, but my foster mum thinks I would be happy to be an only dog too.
I have a short easy care coat that requires a brush regularly, and I’m happy to have a bath too.
In my new home I must be included in the everyday life of my family. I must continue to sleep indoors and I am ok to be left during the day if you work, but if you could stay home for the first few days I will settle in quickly.
For more information or to apply to adopt me, please contact my foster mum Robyn on 0414 550 340. I am in foster care at Fennell Bay, NSW (south of Newcastle) and available for adoption interstate.
Zoe's adoption fee is $350 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered. You can see all of our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
