About Saffyre 1618 & Skye 1617
These beautiful girls are sisters who have been together since they were babies, so they are looking for a forever home to share. They just turned 3 years old this May; Saffyre is the Blue, Skye is the Black & Tan.
Saffyre: Willing to please, obedient, but is a bit cheeky and very energetic. Loves agility activities; love trips to the park as she can run and play with anything willing; trips to the beach are a favourite; swimming (beach or pool not fussy); my ball, your ball, any ball!!!!
Don’t mind a bath or a brush, cuddles, tummy rubs; happy to greet new dogs or people, but cats are for chasing. Initially jumps to greet friends, but very polite with guests once everyone has been greeted individually with introduction to her “ball”. Once the day’s excitement is over, she's happy to sit by you and snooze. Would suit energetic family with room for two as she is very bonded to her sister Skye.
Saffyre’s philosophy: “If you are working, then I am working - 'cause you will need me”.
Skye: Sharp as a tack; loyal, protective, affectionate and but very stubborn. Skye is the dominant dog in the relationship with her sister. Would do anything for a walk in the park or the ball but needs to rest her knees a bit along the way - just you try and leave her behind though!
Will sit, stay, lie down, shake hands if motivated. Very in tune with her surroundings and you don’t need a doorbell; loves to sit on your feet in the evening and will tend to bond with one member of the family more than others. Loves being brushed and will tolerate a cuddle (would prefer her ball though). Polite and happy around kids and other dogs, must stay with her sister Saffyre and no cats.
Skye's philosophy: “You belong to me and so do you and you and you and you…. And so does my ball!”
If you're an active dog owner looking for double the love, please contact us by email to apply for the gorgeous Saffyre and Skye.
Medical notes
Saffyre and Skye are both progressing well on their weight loss program and will need their appropriate diet and activity continued. Skye takes anti inflammatory medication for her knees and may require ACL surgery in the future.
