About Josie and Fran
Well hello! I'm Josephine (aka Josie) and this is my little girl Fran. Not to be too self-centred, but I would like to mention that we are pretty stunning!
Our good looks aren't our best feature though, oh no it is our personalities that win every time! I am a confident social butterfly who just adores people. I have this super cute little 'jump-n-smooch' move that I do if you aren't fully focussed on patting me, and my fur is Sooo soft that once you have started stoking me, it is hard to stop. I like to be on your lap and in your face and everywhere you are, including standing on the keyboard while you try to type (I'm way more interesting than whatever is on the computer!)
My foster mum calls me the whole package. Good looks, good manners, great personality. Now, I may look like I was born sleeping on a silk pillow with a silver spoon in my mouth but that couldn't really be further from the truth. I am from outback WA, the town of Kalgoorlie. No one knows much about my early life and I don't like to talk about it but basically I ended up in the pound, heavily pregnant. I was under-nourished and alone, frightened about what would become of me and my babies. Luckily I was able to make the journey to a carer in Northam but the stress of it all led to me becoming very very sick in the last few days of my pregnancy. I gave birth to 5 precious babies but tragically my two little boys did not survive.
Thanks to lots of TLC and extra support from my foster mum, I was able to get better and take AMAZING care of my three gorgeous daughters.
Two of them have now found loving families all of their own, with just little Fran left with me.
She is a rambunctious, out-going, happy-go-lucky kitten who loves to play and adores human company. Fran is extremely cheeky and will keep anyone amused for hours with her hilarious antics. She is especially fond of playing with your shoelaces until they are untied!
With a coat that is super soft just like mine, you won't know who you want to be patting most. But it's okay because you have two hands and there are two of us so as long as you never worry about doing anything else, you can always focus on the patting! Fran also happens to be super cuddly and floppy.
Fran and I have a really wonderful mother-daughter bond and it will be wonderful to find a family who will love both of us for the rest of our lives so I am never afraid for her future again.
We have both had some exposure to dogs and we are okay with them so could adjust to a cat-friendly dog. We would also be great with children.
We do need to go to a home where we will be indoor-only, or with access to a fully enclosed cat run.

Adoption details
Thank you for taking the time to view one of our lovely animals. We love them all and we hope you will too.
If you would like to know more about an animal please call Freedom on 0409 000 259. If it sounds like you and the furry creature are a suitable match then we will pass on the foster carer’s details to you so you can call and make a time to meet them.
Once you have met the animal and wish to go further then we may organise a yard check to ensure that your yard is safe and secure (dogs only). You can then take your new family member home on a 2 week trial and if you decide they are not suitable then you can return them.
If you are not sure how existing animals in your home might be affected, or you want a little extra time to get to know the nature of the animal, we may allow you to foster with a view to adopt.
