About Rocky
Please meet Rocky - our resident playboy! Rocky is a 1 year old Rotti x Cattle dog who is in love with everyone he meets and can't wait to find his forever home.
Rocky loves attention and has all manner of ways to get some from you. He adores cuddles and will even walk on his hind legs following you waiting for you to cuddle him.
Rocky gets along well with other dogs, although he does prefer smaller dogs. We would advise a meet and greet with any larger dogs to ensure they get along. Rocky seemed scared of cats when introduced to them.
Out and about exploring is one of Rocky's favourite things to do. He can pull a little on the lead in excitement when first headed out but will soon settle.
Rocky can be a little timid around new people and when going to new places, but with encouragement he gains his confidence and will settle well.
He will require regular exercise and secure fencing. Rocky will thrive in an environment that guides him with positive direction and lots of love and attention. He is a very very affectionate boy and will make a wonderful new family member to a lucky family. Due to his need for attention whenever he can get it, he can be a little jumpy when he sees you. This is through excitement and he is no way aggressive. To help with training to break this habit, we have included 3 x free training lessons in his adoption fee.
Rocky's adoption fee is $350 and includes his desexing, vaccinations and lifetime registration. Rocky is also regularly treated for flea and worms.
To enquire more or to meet Rocky, please drop in to the facility or call 02 43044350 or email ccacfadoptions@gmail.com and speak to one of our friendly staff.
Rocky is looking forward to meeting you.
Adoption details
Please phone or email us to find out more information on our animals. You will be asked to fill in a questionnaire. This questionnaire is confidential and does not oblige you to adopt, or guarantee you the animal. The information you provide helps the facility to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home.
Once the questionnaire and any questions you may have are approved and answered, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the facility unless prior arrangements are made by management.
After the meet and greet, a yard check will be completed at your home to ensure that your home and yard is suitable for the kind of pet you are interested in.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
