About Princess ~ 2yo Wolfhound x girl (adopted May 2017)
Meet Princess! - a beautiful 2 year old Wolfhound x (possibly border collie) with a loving and fun personality and lots of energy.
Princess is great with older children and although she hasn't really been around other dogs much, she usually gets along with them fine and has never shown any aggression. She is also fine with cats.
Princess is not a barker, but she requires good fencing - at least 6 ft. She's only ever been an outside dog but would love to be included as part of an active family and be taken for daily walks.
Princess's perfect home would be with an active single person, couple or family with older children (as due to her size she may knock over toddlers when excited).
Princess would love to be your “new best friend".
For more information or to meet Princess, please contact Donna on 0466 099 426 or email trudgetty@hotmail.com. Princess is located in Swansea, NSW (south of Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Princess's adoption fee is $350 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered. You can see all of our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
