Pumpkin - CD0206

Pumpkin and her 9 puppies came into SAFE's care off the plantations, due to her owners relocating. We aren't sure of her age but going off how playful and energetic she is, we don't think she'd be older than maybe a year and a half? She loves playing boisterously with other dogs, and thought her puppies were just mates for her to play with too. She likes it when you throw her toys to run after, and would probably love to be taught how to play fetch properly. She loves to be with you and soak up all your attention, pats and cuddles.

During her life on the plantation, we think she probably had freedom as well as the constant company of either dogs or people. So we don't think she will be be able to adjust easily to a home where she is alone all day while her new family is away at work. We think she will be best off with either another playful dog for company or a home where she is together with her new owner often. It doesn't look like she was given any training, so her new owners will have to have the time and patience to teach her how to become a well-behaved member of her new family. But she has such a lovely nature and is so eager to please so that shouldn't take too long.

We don't know what breeds are in her, but she is a bit of a boofhead on the larger side of medium. If you would like to find out more about this gorgeous girl please email carnarvon@safe.asn.au.
