“Charlie”, Snuggly Cruisy Boy. Melbourne

Darling Charlie knows exactly what being a rescued greyhound is all about – love, cuddles and snuggly snoozing spots! You’re likely to find him fast asleep in the laundry cupboard, or on top of a pile of a cushions…anywhere that’s soft and comfy!

Charlie has a soft, snuggly nature himself, and is the perfect example of the placid, adoring greyhound character. He loves children, and has proven wonderfully patient being petted and led around by children of all ages in his foster home (any children in his forever home will need to be at least seven). He’s also calm around small dogs, but hasn’t been tested with cats.

Charlie is unusually laid-back even by greyhound standards, and doesn’t have much interest in zooming around. He likes a walk, but isn’t too fussed, as long as he gets plenty of mental stimulation at home. This is Charlie’s number one priority – to be around the ones he loves. Charlie will need plenty of company in his forever home...but who could resist spending time with this lovely boy?

With a little more training, Charlie will make a first-rate pet for a lucky family. He’s already toilet trained, and just needs some help recognising the boundaries of home living….like realising that not everyone wants to find a large dog asleep on their pile of clean towels! If you can provide some soft snuggly spaces and plenty of love, Charlie would be pleased to meet you.
