Dempsey

“Dempsey, Dempsey darling”, our foster mama always says. Dempsey’s my name, after Paul Demspey, of Something for Kate fame. I have the most amazing markings, with a suitably spunky personality to match, if I may say so myself.
Our mama, Patience, and my brothers and sisters, biological and adopted, were lucky enough to find care with Forever Friends Animal Rescue Latrobe until we grew big enough to have our “big kids operations”. Now, we’re ready to find our forever families.
I mean, it’s not like we don’t love our foster humans but you have to leave the nest at some stage, am I right?
I go everywhere in a hurry, with a busy nature. More often than not, I have been first to try new things. I am just what you would expect of a kitten of my age. I do love playing with my brothers and sisters, my toys, climbing on the cat trees and my food. I take extremely good care of myself and always look my best. We are all litter trained - our foster mama always tells us “good use of the tray, guys”.
I love other cats, big and small, and have been handled by lots of humans, mainly bigger ones. I haven’t been tested with dogs or small humans but a slow and respectful introduction is likely to be successful.
Happy to be cuddled, I’m not a total snuggle bug, although I need to be part of, and am quite curious about, the day-to-day goings on in my foster home. I have always been the first to explore new rooms at the foster ‘rents.
