About Mango 🍅 Soft ginger kitten
Mango and her siblings were born on the verandah of a council flat in Kensington, and rescued by a concerned neighbour. They came into care with Cat People and were dubbed the Fruit Salad litter because they were all so sweet and such beautiful colours.
Mango is a fluffy little girl with stunning ginger colouring which matches her fiery temperament. She stands up to the carers 40kg ridgeback (who’s very gentle and adores kittens) and bosses around the other kittens. Mango loves to play with balls, feathery things, mousies… whatever she can get her paws on. She loves a cuddle and purrs her fierce little heart out when she’s stroked by her humans.
Mango is a peppy little girl looking for a couple or family who will love her cheeky little ways and play hunt, catch, kill with her every day so she can show how what a clever tigress she is! Will you be Mango’s play partner and friend?
Medical notes
Mango has had her first vaccination and been microchipped. She is available for pre-adoption and you can meet her now but can't take her home until she's been desexed, which should be in the next 2-3 weeks. Mango is a very healthy raw fed kitten.
Adoption details
To adopt a cat from Cat People you'll be required to have a house check and fill out an adoption contract.
We work with a network of independent and co-operative foster carers. This means that adoption fees may vary.
Deposits are accepted to hold cats & kittens before adoption - this deposit is not refundable (instalment payments can be arranged with the coordinator to pre-approved adopters).
Cats from our group are all are vet checked, flea treated, wormed, vaccinated and desexed before being taken home by their adopters. Additionally, all of our cats have been evaluated for behavioural traits, fed a high-quality diet, and well socialised.
Adoptions can be done with a two week foster to adopt arrangement for adult cats only.
We will communicate with you through every step of the adoption process to ensure that your experience (and the cat's) is excellent and that you are confident in your decision to add a furry member to your family.
Returns are only accepted due to health issues confirmed by a veterinarian.
