About Ranger ~ Kelpie x Staffy ~ puppy (on trial 2/04/17
Ranger is an adorable 10 week old Kelpie x Staffy puppy, he loves nothing more than cuddles from his humans but also loves exploring in the garden with the kids. He has been a pleasure to foster as he is just happy to go with the flow.
Ranger is learning fast and is proving quite quickly he is happy to learn and wants to please. He has picked up walking on a lead in a very short time.
This little guy would love nothing more then to be part of a family and have a nice little bed in the corner of the living room where he can watch your every move.
Bed time is not a problem for Ranger he is happy to take him self off to bed when he gets sleepy.
Ranger is also happy around dogs of all sizes and age and has also been living with chickens, and has met a couple of our farm ducks that don't worry him a bit.
We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training.
As Ranger is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because he'll need to be returned to one of our vets for desexing when he's 4 or 5 months old.
For more information or to meet Ranger, please contact his foster carer Rebecca on 0438 678 818 or email bec85b@hotmail.com. Ranger is in foster care in Coolongolook NSW (Mid North Coast) and is available for adoption interstate.
Ranger's adoption fee is only $500 and includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, and microchipping. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
