About Boydon
Darling little Boydon is the complete package! A pint-sized sweetheart, this guy had a difficult start to life on the streets of Kalgoorlie but his luck has turned around and now he's safely in foster care having a great time and waiting to find his forever family.
Boydon is an active, energetic dog who loves to play. At just 10 months old he is still practically a puppy and views the world with wide-eyed enthusiasm. It must be acknowledged that he has not always had kind treatment from humans so at first he can be a little shy and may cower away from people. But after only a short time in foster care, he is becoming ever more confident and social. He longs to bond to someone and really enjoys human company; when left home alone he can become stressed out so he will benefit from a family who is home quite a bit but is also willing to put some time into helping him overcome his minor insecurities.
Boydon LOVES other dogs of all sizes and a confident, friendly new canine-sibling would do a lot to help him learn and grow. He is also very good with children including toddlers so a family home would be perfect. Boydon does jump up but weighing in at only 5.4kg means that this isn't too problematic now and he is a quick learner so it will be easy to teach him appropriate manners.
This little guy has had some exposure to cats and is in fact a bit scared of them! But with an appropriate introduction he could definitely learn to live harmoniously with a feline friend.
Boydon is all-round a great little dog. He won't last long so get in touch today!
Adoption details
Thank you for taking the time to view one of our lovely animals. We love them all and we hope you will too.
If you would like to know more about an animal please call Freedom on 0409 000 259. If it sounds like you and the furry creature are a suitable match then we will pass on the foster carer’s details to you so you can call and make a time to meet them.
Once you have met the animal and wish to go further then we may organise a yard check to ensure that your yard is safe and secure (dogs only). You can then take your new family member home on a 2 week trial and if you decide they are not suitable then you can return them.
If you are not sure how existing animals in your home might be affected, or you want a little extra time to get to know the nature of the animal, we may allow you to foster with a view to adopt.
