About Teddy ~ Cattle dog (on trial 9/04/17)
Look at this handsome friendly fellow, his name is Teddy! Teddy is a 10 month old pure breed cattle dog who has the most gentle nature. He is unassertive, obedient and playful. All great qualities for a young dog. This boy is going to make a family very happy. He is a delight! And those eyes!
Teddy has basic training and would enjoy the stimulation of further training as he is a bright boy who has a willingness to learn new things. He still has the characteristic of a pup being energetic, eager to please and affectionate. He relishes his walks but would benefit a walking harness as he tends to pull when excited. He has exceptional recall.
Teddy sleeps inside of a night and is fully toilet trained. He loves a play in the yard but equally enjoys his time with his family when they are home. Teddy would suit an active family with older children to play with. He doesn’t necessarily need another doggy companion but would appreciate a friendly dog for a play mate. He gets along very well with friendly dogs.
If you are interested in meeting Teddy, please contact Chontelle on 0477 779 534 or email bubbles13.5.11@hotmail.com. Teddy is located in Paxton, NSW (west of Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Teddy's adoption fee is $450, he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered. You can see all of our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
