About Minnie ~ Jack Russell x Pug (On Trial 29/3/17)
Mighty Minnie is a gorgeous 9 year old ‘Jug’ or Jack Russell x pug, and is very close to be the perfect companion. There are many things she loves; going for a walk, playing ball, getting cuddles as well as sitting in the car beside you just to keep each other company. Minnie’s main love in life is the man of the family though, as she’ll follow him anywhere as well as wait patiently by his door, waiting for him to get out of bed in the morning.
Minnie is not a great barker, but she will let you know when someone has coming up the path. She is perfectly toilet trained, and quietly sleeps in her bed in the lounge room when it’s time for lights out. One important issue with Minnie that will need to be addressed by her new family, is her weight as she really does need to lose a couple of inches around her belly. In the past, she has had a high fat diet little exercise, so a regular walk and healthy diet should get here fighting fit in no time.
Minnie is an inside dog and would be ideally suited to a family is home a lot of the time and would love a quiet dog to go on their daily walk. As she does get quickly attached to the men of the family, it would be ideal if there was a male in the family so she wouldn’t fret. A retired couple would be ideal.
Minnie is currently being looked after in Floraville, NSW, 2280. If you are interested in making inquiries about this gorgeous girl, please contact Jason or Karen Scott on 02 400 911 63 or by email on, jk88scott@gmail.com. Minnie is unavailable for interstate adoption.
Minnie's adoption fee is $200 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
