Penguin

Penguin was born in a backyard and while she was raised around people she never had much to do with them until at 6 months old she was caught and brought to Ginger Ninja rescue. Since then she has learnt that a house and a family really isn't such a bad thing but Penguin is still a very shy cat. She has yet to learn people are completely her friend so while she knows people are not going to hurt her, provide her food and safety she is not yet sure on being a cat who seeks out social interaction.

This is where she needs a special family. She is currently in foster care with other cats and dogs who she interacts with happily. Its not unusual to wake during the night to find her and one of the other foster cats Tiger playing chasey through the house. She lies under her scratching post watching her human family during the day and when she wants (she has to be the one to initiate it) she has started to brush herself close to us. As yet she is not a fan of being picked up . She will need a family who is patient and willing to spend time working with her to bring her out of her shell and to develop her trust.

Penguin is to be strictly an indoor only cat or cat enclosure only cat.

Penguin has been vaccinated, desexed, microchipped, wormed and flea treated and is in foster care in Elizabeth
