About Lucy
This lovable little girl is Lucy.
Lucy is a typical friendly and bouncy pup. She loves her playtime and having fun with her foster family and the other dogs in the home.
Considering the size and strength Lucy will have when she grows up she will benefit greatly from training and strong leadership to help her become the most well behaved dog she can be. Lucy is learning some basic training and is very pleased to receive praise from her foster mum when she does as she is asked.
In her foster home Lucy is invited to spend lots of time inside where she gets to feel like a special part of the family. She has nice manners when she is inside and is learning to let them know when she needs to go out to the toilet. She sleeps indoors where she feels safe and can hang on overnight.
Lucy is getting used to going for walks on lead and loves to be out saying hello to the neighbours. She is very social and enjoys meeting new people. Lucy is currently in care with young family and has been very gentle around the children. With any dog we would always recommend supervision between dogs and children.
Lucy is currently in care with other large breed dogs and they have offered her a lot of guidance. She really enjoys their companionship and the games they share together. Lucy would be very well suited to a home with a desexed medium/large breed MALE dog who would enjoy having a friend to play and share their day with. She will not cope with being left on her own for long periods of time without becoming bored and destructive
Lucy has not been tested with cats so will be looking for a home where there will be NO CATS
If you have a place in your home for Lucy please contact us and we will be in touch shortly
Lucy is currently in Avonsleigh, VIC

Lucy has been desexed, microchipped and vaccinated. She will be due for the second booster on 7/4/17. She has also received regularr flea and worm treatment while she has been in our care
Adoption details
If you think one of our animals would be a good match for your home please email us and we will be in touch shortly after. We all work fulltime, have families and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require any other dogs in your home meeting our foster animal before they head home with you. This enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care, this is a condition of our Adoptions.
