Duke of Hazzard..dog,cat and child friendly

Duke of Hazzard is a beautiful 2y 9m old kelpie. He is currently living with primary school aged children, another dog and two cats and gets on fine with all of them. Duke has quickly shown that he is a smart,easy going,affectionate fellow who just wants to please you. He loves to be with his people and won't be suited as an only outside dog, he can be left inside unsupervised, is not destructive at all and house-trained (only has very rare accidents when overexcited greeting you at the door).Most of the time, Duke is just happy to chill out with you and relaxes on his bed next to you, but when you grab the lead, he is always ready for a walk and will need an owner who understands that being a working dog, daily walks are a must. We also think he would do brilliantly trying out herding classes as his kelpie instincts are definitely present when he has open space to run and herd his furry foster sister.. He also likes to herd the kitten very gently, or the kitten takes a turn and chases him throughout the house.:) He knows to leave the senior resident cat alone.
