Hi, my name is Maurice,

As a kitten, I found myself at Lort Smith with a broken femur and the lovely staff here have helped me every step of the way on the road to recovery. As a result, I'm now as fit as a fiddle! Although, I'm probably best as an indoor cat as I wouldn't want to hurt my leg again *OUCH!*.

I've had the opportunity to spend some time in foster care and oh boy was it exciting. My carer described me as a very brave young man who loves the thrill of adventures, even the vacuum cleaner didn't spook me.

I am very playful, and sometimes the excitement takes over me so a home without young children is probably best, as I wouldn't want to unintentionally hurt someone. I am very curious and always interested in the things happening around me. Needless to say, I am quite the active cat.

Despite everything I've been through, I am a confident handsome fella. I love greeting new people and I enjoy the occasional chin scratch.
