About Charlie8
Last year a farmer near Ramornie suffered 30 percent burns to his body due to an explosion on his property and he was air lifted to Royal North Shore Hospital. Friends and family approach us to take his dog Charlie to look after while he was being treated, which we did on the understanding that he would take his dog back on his return. The damage done was greater than everyone expected and recently we were told he would not be back for some time if at all and to rehome his dog Charlie. Charlie is a beautiful blue cattle dog, with a lovely nature looking for an active family or someone to train him for herding or agility. He is a very smart family friendly affectionate dog full of energy, house and crate trained ready for an equally smart owner. Like all our animals he has been desexed, immunised, wormed, de-flead and micro-chipped.
Adoption details
HappyPaws Haven is fussy about who adopts these animals and where they are housed and cared for. The adoption criteria is documented as a questionnaire and strictly adhered to. We do not adopt animals to people who rent unless they are long term rental at the same address and have landlords written permission.
We ask if they have thought about the attributes they want in a dog, lifestyle, childrens ages, prepared to train, etc. We also talk about responsible pet ownership, \ fully fenced yards, hours unattended etc. and finally a vet reference.
