About Tristan (ED0105)
Tristan is a typical healthy, lively and cuddly puppy – full of life and wanting to be into everything you are doing. Tristan is at present being fostered with two Greyhounds who he gets on well with and they are teaching him manners. Tristan is a bright boy and is walking well on the lead, sitting and generally being very well behaved for a puppy J He is a very affectionate, gentle and cuddly boy and loves to snuggle up to his carer on the bed at night. Tristan’s toilet training is going well – there are a few mishaps but most of the time he is on track – he just hasn’t learned how to ask to go out yet.
Tristan has been introduced to the beach and sea and was fearless, running right in after his friends, almost to the point where he looked like he was going to swim out to sea but luckily didn’t (whew!) Being a young puppy Tristan would require a home where he is not left alone for long periods and he is young enough to readily accept a resident dog.
Due to his heritage (Border Collie X Kelpie) Tristan will require sufficient exercise and mental stimulation as he grows to keep him active, healthy and happy. It will also be very important to continue with Tristan’s socialisation with other dogs – we would recommend taking him to puppy classes where he will not only be socialised but will also learn basic commands and boundaries. This investment of time and effort will result in a well-rounded and happy puppy that will grow into a delightful and loving adult companion.
