About Jack
This little cutie is Jack.
Jack is a fun loving bouncy pup who seems to get along well with everyone. He is full of personality and has a lot of love to give his new family.
Jack is looking for a home with a strong leader who is prepared to further his training to help him become the best behaved dog he can possibly be. He is beginning to understand basic commands and seems to catch on very quickly He is still a little jumpy but is learning that people don't like being jumped on when they walk out the door to say hello. He is a very smart boy who is learning his manners quickly.
His foster carer says he is very sweet and gentle with her young children and seems to realise children require a calmer attitude from him.
Jack is sharing his foster home with 2 large breed dogs who have been a great influence on him. He is learning a lot from them and enjoys the company and attention he receives from them. Jack would love to have a desexed doggy friend of similar size and energy levels in his new home who will offer him guidance and help teaching correct behaviour. He will not cope being left home alone all day as he requires a lot of company to prevent him becoming bored and destructive.
After getting to know Jack better we have made the decision that he will need a doggy companion in his new home.
Jack will also require a good sized yard where he will have room to run and burn off some of his puppy energy.
Socialisation will be very important for Jack to help continue his development. He loves being around people and enjoys his outings.
Daily walks and regular exercise will be a great way to offer him the mental stimulation he requires. He is still learning his name so recall is not something he really understands at this stage but with some time and patience he will understand what his family are asking of him.
In his foster home Jack is invited inside to be with his family. He loves curling up on his bed close to his foster mum. He is also offered a bed inside overnight where he can feel comfortable and safe.
He is almost toilet trained and will hang on overnight but does need the occasional reminder during the day when he is too busy playing. A few more reminders and he will have it mastered.
We have been unable to test Jack with cats so he will be looking for a home where there will be another dog but NO CATS
If you think you have the perfect place in your home for Jack we look forward to hearing from you
Jack is currently in Avonsleigh,VIC
Medical notes
Jack has been desexed, microchipped and vaccinated. He has also received flea and worm treatment while he has been in care.
Adoption details
If you think one of our animals would be a good match for your home please email us and we will be in touch shortly after. We all work fulltime, have families and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require any other dogs in your home meeting our foster animal before they head home with you. This enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care, this is a condition of our Adoptions.
