Hi there, my name is Maple. I simply LOVE being around my family – humans, children, other dogs – the more the merrier! I like to sleep inside and am never far from my family members, as I love to be involved in everything they do. I am pretty chilled out and nothing much gets me worked up, so I rarely bark and don’t jump up or anything like that. I just like to hang out with my family, play and head down to the park to play fetch with my ball. Did I tell you that I LOVE my ball too?

I have learnt how to use the doggy door at my foster carer’s home and am now fully toilet trained – clever dog, eh? I am great on the lead and really good in the car – I have done a few trips of up to 6 hours and am absolutely fine. Impressed yet? My foster carer says I am a perfect dog, and I think you will agree when you meet me. The only thing I don’t like is water – I don’t much like getting wet, but I don’t see what is wrong with that!

Due to my calm temperament, I am good with kids of all ages and in fact would prefer to be part of a family with kids, and perhaps even another dog.
