About Sam
Introducing Sam "the man" D29036 the 5 year old male fox terrier cross.
Sam's foster carer has written a report on him; It goes like this.
Sam is an angel; he stays in the yard when told when the gate is open - no running out, plays beautifully with Mango his foster sister who is also a terrier, he is a very faithful companion who loves to be a shadow, house trained, very alert and loves to learn new things. Sam can shake hands, is very obedient, walks well on the lead, loves getting out and about to meet people and see new things and he is even improving in his car travel. Sam can still get startled if you grab him by the collar around the back of his quickly. We feel that he would be best suited to an older couple rather than will young children.
It really is amazing how our dogs respond when in a foster home.
Sam has also been introduced to older secondary school aged children and he is great with them. Care needs to taken though not to grab him roughly around the neck or collar.
Sam is not suitable for a home with chickens, cats, other male dogs and pocket pets or infants/children.
Sam will make someone an awesome little companion and would love to sit on your lap or at your feet any time of the day or night.
Sam costs $400 to adopt, this helps HPAWS to cover some of his veterinary treatment as he comes desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, flea and worm treated.
Sam has a few pesky teeth than need to be surgically removed so once he recovers from his desexing surgery he will need some follow up surgery before he can head out of the Horsham Rural City Council Area.
