About Leo
Leo: very handsome male long hair domestic Norwegian Forest Cat x. Leo has some of the classic features of the breed, such as the pointy ear tufts, large feet and long bushy tail. He does need to be regularly brushed, which he absolutely loves.
Leo is approximately 4 years old, and is a very gentle, affectionate and loving cat; he happily spends most of his time outdoors, but he also adores company and cuddles.
Leo responds to his name being called.
He likes to be outdoors, even happily sitting under the eaves watching the thunder and lightning, which is very unusual. He is also quite content to sleep the day away underneath a shady bush.
Leo is still a little nervous around strangers, and tends to hide initially, but once he has gained some trust, he is very affectionate. He is not used to children, but has been around other adults; he responded to our Pet Sitter very well, and also became comfortable with our in laws when they stayed for a few weeks.
We adopted Leo together with Dora, a little ginger tabby, who has the opposite nature, being small, playful, and inquisitive. They often snuggle up together, but equally often have arguments, which can be quite amusing to watch. We are happy to split them up, for adoption, as Leo probably would appreciate some space, whilst Dora would probably thrive in an environment where she is not ‘the underdog!’
We are very sad to have to let Leo go, but due to an unexpected sea change, we are unable to keep our two furry friends, and hence are looking for a suitable new home for them.
Medical notes
Leo is approximately 4 years old, and de-sexed. He has recently had his F3 vaccination, and is also regularly treated for fleas and worms with Revolution Spot On.
