About Gus ~ beautiful Kelpie x boy (On Trial 27/3/17)
Introducing the beautiful Gus! This gorgeous boy is a 3-4 year old Kelpie x who just wants a family to love him and keep him safe.
Gus has a very affectionate and relaxed personality and is happiest when he is around people who can give him attention and cuddles. Gus is extremely gentle and loves children. He especially loves playtime and walks to the park.
Gus is a perfect companion who gets along well with other pets and would be suitable both living with or without another dog.
Gus is trained as both an inside and outside dog and can respond easily to basic commands – he is such a good boy! Gus seems to have some hearing difficulties but it doesn't affect him day to day and he would be a great addition to the family!
Gus is such a wonderful, easygoing and lovable boy – are you his forever home?
For more information or to meet Gus, please contact his foster mum Mickey on 0429 147 868 or email micaley.munro@hotmail.com. Gus is located in Hamilton, NSW (Newcastle area) and is available for adoption interstate.
Gus's adoption fee is $400 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered. You can see all of our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au
Medical notes
Happy and healthy boy.
Gus seems to have some hearing difficulties but it doesn't affect him day to day.
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
