About Chopper
Chopper is a very mellow and laid back boy. He is very happy to sit (normally lay and roll onto his back and make strange noises in his sleep) at your feet all day. He is not what I would call a rambunctious puppy. He is like a little old man dog in a puppy body.
He is a very fast learner and has mastered the art of sitting and looking at you with those beautiful eyes, pleading for a snack or his dinner. Chop chop (as we have taken to calling him) is learning to drop and stay. He always waits to be invited inside or through the gate. He is walking calmly on the lead with a harness and is very calm when going in the car.
Chopper has been introduced to cats and has a healthy respect for them. He has met chickens and although he shows an interest in them he has not tried to make any advances to them. Chopper has been introduced to horses and although a little intimidated by them does not show any fear or aggression. He tries very hard to get along with other dogs and is learning social cues and hierarchy.
Chopper has not had one accident in the house. He will either come find you so you can let him out or he will have a little whimper at the door.
Chopper seems to be the sort of dog that bonds to just one person very well. He does however get along with every person he meets. Chopper will make an ideal companion.
