Tyson

Tyson is a very handsome 5 year old Staffy x Boxer boy who has the best of both his breeds. He has a bundle of happy Staffy energy and the smart Boxer intelligence. He is very obedient and understands commands such as ‘sit’ and ‘stay’ and loves to ‘shake’ paws, go 'up' for cuddles and of course ‘roll over’ for a good belly rub. It is amazing what he will do for a treat, especially from the kids!

Tyson is looking for a loving family with children who love to play. His favourite games are fetch and tug-o-war and he would really like to have a large backyard to run around. Nothing makes him happier than ‘playtime’ and he just loves to be included in everything the family is doing. Tyson is toilet trained to be an inside dog and is also ok being an outside dog who can keep an eye on his family through the door. He is content for you to leave the house and will just chill out while you are gone, he doesn't bark or have any separation anxiety.

Children are very important company for Tyson as he just adores them and as he is not keen on other dogs he really needs the companionship of a family. He was raised with another dog but during his time in foster, meetings with other dogs haven’t gone so well. This may be able to change with training but it is important that Tyson is the only fur baby for the moment. Tyson just thinks it is his job to guard his family because he loves them so much, just like some boxers do! The working breed in him means that he is not able to live with cats or any pocket pets either they are just too tempting. He is very strong and muscular and loves to walk on his lead but will need a confident and firm owner to enjoy these outing times.

This sweet natured and playful boy has already shown that he is a loving and loyal family member in his foster home and he is hoping to find his forever home soon.
