About Aristotle
Aristotle and plato are two brothers who were born at the shelter. They were given the best start to life, and were great ambassadors for guinea pigs over the world, having been handled since birth and totally content around humans. They'd run up for affection, but despite their lovely personalities they faced the "red-eye discrimination" most of these animals have to deal with. Personally, we think their ruby eyes are delightful!
well, they finally found a family, but after several months they have been brought back because stray cats were terrorising them. They now have to regain their trust in humans, and gain a bit of weight. They are still small for their age, and plato and aristotle will have to be rehomed together as they have been with each other their entire lives. Update 30. 9. 09: plato and aristotle have gained weight nicely while back in rescue, though they tend to be a bit fussy with their vegetables. We're still trying to convince them to eat their capsicums! but they do like apple, carrot, watermelon, and of course their all time favourite is grass! these boys are lovely, and are improving in confidence every day. During vegie time, they have the loudest voices and really sing for their supper! they are gaining confidence in humans beautifully, and don't run out of their hutch when it is time for a cuddle anymore. Infact they're getting quite used to sitting on people's laps and being patted, even looking forward to this interaction.
