About Tilly
Hi everyone my name is Tilly and I am pleased to meet you.
I didn't have a great start to life and the humans looking after me weren't very nice people so I thought that all people were like them. But boy was I was I wrong. After I was rescued from the lovely people at S.C.A.R I quickly learnt what being a part of a loving family was all about.
Since living with my foster family I now know that I LOVE sitting on the lounge while watching TV back/neck and tummy rubs and scenic walks on a quiet track.
The family that adopts me will need to give me the space I need to feel safe again in a new environment and know that I will take a little bit of time to settle into my new home. But once I know it isn't a scary home I will let my walls down and show you just how loving I can be. I have been living with another small dog a cat and a guinea pig with no problems and would love to live my second chance out with a doggy friend to help teach me that things like coffee machines vacuums and irons that make scary sounds won't actually hurt me.
I am still learning some basic skills that no one ever showed me like how to go to the bathroom on the grass and I don't like being picked up yet but I am sure with some patience and extra TLC I will pick everything up that I need to. I like human kids but would suit a home with older kids and with someone that was home a lot to look after me.
I am showing lots of daily progress in my foster home and will continue to do so with the right forever family. Could YOU be my new family?
