About Urchin
This girl has cute down pat!
Urchin is a very sweet and gentle girl. She has a glossy black coat with stylish white markings on her toes and chest. Urchin is definitely a favourite wherever she goes. She can be a little bit on the shy side in new situations but very quickly has worked out that meeting new people is more enjoyable than scary as they give good pats and cuddles. Urchin enjoys running around the yard and exploring with her sisters. When all the fun is over she is an excellent snuggle buddy and laps up love and affection like she has never had it before.
During her time in care, Urchin has been well socialised with other dogs of all shapes and sizes. She is happiest in the company of another dog and enjoys meeting new dogs as long as they are well-mannered and let her get to know them. Urchin likes to give her new doggy friends kisses and enjoys playing. She will grow up to be a decent sized dog and will required daily exercise and stimulation to keep her happy and healthy throughout her life. Her love for other dogs makes her a good companion to take to dog parks and beaches where she can socialise and make friends.
Urchin has been learning basic training while in foster care. She will sit for a yummy treat and walk on a lead. Urchin is good at following her carer around and does not run off. Being a puppy it is very important that her new family are committed to continuing her training and socialisation. Urchin should be taken to puppy school and/or dog training classes which are also a great opportunity for her new family to bond with her. She is food motivated and responds well to positive reinforcement and training. She is crate trained and sleeps through the night, and is progressing well with her toilet training.
We are looking for a home where Urchin will be a part of the family and included in daily activities and outings. She will require a home with another dog for company whom she can learn off and be friends with. It is an added bonus if someone is around more often than not to give her the attention and love that she deserves. Urchin should be allowed inside to be with the family and will require a warm comfy bed inside out of the weather to sleep on at night. At this stage she has not met other types of pets but with the right training and introductions there is no reason she shouldn’t be able to live with others harmoniously.
If you think you can offer the right home for this darling girl then let us know.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
