Mirage

Look at this stunning girl!

Mirage is a striking looking pup with a beautiful nature to match. She is a very sweet little girl who loves all the good things that us humans provide – cuddles, pats, affection, treats, more affection, etc. Mirage is a great snuggler and is more than happy to curl up with her foster care on the lounge for some cuddle time. During play time she interacts well with people and enjoys toys. She also likes to explore the yard and run around with her sisters. Mirage has an overall calm but playful personality which will fit well with most lifestyles.

During her time in care, Mirage has been socialised with a range of dogs of different shapes and sizes. She likes other dogs and will greet new friends with little kisses. Mirage enjoys playing with gentle dogs and is growing in confidence with each new positive experience. She will grow up to be a decent sized dog and will require daily exercise and socialisation to keep her happy and healthy throughout her life. Mirage would be suitable to take to dog parks and beaches where she can make new friends and play.

Mirage has been learning basic training while in foster care and this has included learning to sit for attention and on command, and walk nicely on a lead. She is a quick learner who is willing to please and is food motivated. Mirage is only a pup though and it is important that her new family are committed to continuing her training and socialisation. This can be achieved through puppy school and/or dog training classes which are also a great way to bond with her. Mirage is crate trained and sleeps through the night, and she is progressing well with toilet training.

We are looking for a home where Mirage will be a part of the family and included in daily activities and outings. She will require another dog for company and/or someone who is home most of the time to ensure that she gets the attention that she deserves. Mirage should be allowed inside to be with the family and will need a warm comfy bed inside out of the weather to sleep on at night. At this stage she has not met any other types of pets but with the appropriate training there is no reason why she cannot live harmoniously with others.
