About Rita
Hello everyone, my name's Rita and I'm one very lucky girl. The staff and foster carers who have looked after me since my long stay at the shelter, tell me how special I am every day. I have come such a long way that even I don't recognise myself!! When I arrived here, I was not much more than skin and bones and my skin was in such bad condition that I hardly had any fur left. I couldn't see for a very long time as my eyes were so sore and swollen. The staff spent a lot of time putting drops in my eyes. I was such a brave girl and took all my medicine with no fuss. Once I was finished my medicine, I was allowed to go home with a lovely foster carer who helped me recover even further. Now as you can see, I have reached a healthy weight, my eyes have healed enough for me to see my new lovely coat and I'm so ready to find love and a forever home. Everyone thinks I deserve the very best. Are you the one to offer that? I hope so. Please come and say hi. I'll show you how much love and appreciation I have to give!!
