Hi, my name’s Gemma and I’m a grand old lady who’s looking for a loving home in my twilight years.
Unfortunately, my family has moved into an apartment and I wasn’t able to cope with that, so would really love to live in a lovely home, where I’m allowed inside all the time, and a home that has a nice backyard where I can sun myself and roll around on the grass, and sniff the flowers. I’m a loving old girl, who loves nothing better than a ride in the car, a gentle walk (as my hips can get a bit sore), and a nice soft bed. I love children, but can get excited and jumpy, and I love attention! I’ve lived with cats before, and I’m ok with other dogs… I’m happy to say hello, but I’m not really interested in them much. I also know some basic obedience, like sit, stay and come, and, if you clap, I’ll eat my dinner. I don’t like the wind, and will look for somewhere to hide, so I’d need to come inside when it’s windy to be with you. I love a good cuddle, so, if you love a nice, loving cuddle, I’m your girl!
I’ve not yet had my temperament test done, so the ladies at SRV will be able to tell you more about me once that’s done sometime this week.
