Twix is a gorgeous little rascal, who enjoys playing with his sister, “Jersey”. He likes to wrestle with his sister, play tug o’ war, gnaw on his toys and chase the ball.
A voracious eater, Twix loves playing in the garden followed by a midday siesta, drinking from succulents and chasing after his humans. He also likes the simple things in life, like chasing toilet rolls down the hall, investigating the (lack of) content in cardboard boxes, and has been seen stealing undies from the laundry.
Twix knows how to climb stairs, but is still mastering how to go down them.
Twix is a very friendly, playful little angel, who would be a valued member of any family.

Completing this application form does not place you under any obligation to adopt.
Safe Haven Animal Rescue Inc have a 10 day trial/settling period, if for any reason the pet needs to be returned, we will happily take them back into our care once a foster home is found and the adoption fee minus $50 (admin fee) will be returned via bank transfer within 5 working days. If the pet is returned after the trial period there will be no refund made.
Harvey Dog Training supports SHARI and has kindly offered to provide our adopted animals 30% off training/obedience classes. If you are keen to enrol your new puppy/dog please mention this in your email to us!
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption application must be filled out prior to the meet and greet with the animal.
2. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer. You must bring your dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption.
3. The animal must not be taken on the day unless prior arranged (travelling over a 2 hr round trip). If prior arrangement is made, an adoption agreement/s and payment details will be given, this can take 2-3 days to finalize before the meet & greet so please give time.
4. 10 day trial period commences
5. Adoption is finalized after 14 days and paperwork is sent via email.
