Lara has had a rough life.

Lara was farm girl whose owner had no further use for her and she was then taken in by a local family to be their pet. However she was abandoned by them, left tied up without food, water or shade in days of very high temperatures. Her rescuer said she was that hungry when let off the chain she was tied to that she started eating a pile of dead weeds. She was skin and bone with no muscle tone either and was in a very bad way. She spent a month with her rescuer recuperating and now that she's back to full health she is looking for a fantastic forever home.

Lara is a very friendly and smoochy girl who adores pats, cuddles and hugs with her human.

Lara is comfortable sleeping outdoors but is loving the indoor lifestyle her current foster home has provided her with. She is good with other dogs, can be homed cats and poultry, loves car rides and walks well on a lead.

Lara is considered to be medium level energy and would be best suited to a home where she is exposed to both mental and physical stimulation.

She is well suited to a family with (or without) children and can be placed as an only dog but also be suited to a home with another canine companion.

Lara comes desexed, C5 vaccinated, micro-chipped, worm and flea treated and with a ‘starter pack’ that contains a bed, food, collar, lead, toys and important information for new owners.
