Romeo

This lovely puppy is a Tennant Creek Special, but he would like to shake of the red dust of the desert and head south to a new life.

He was left with an old man with his brother when they were very little. That old man was unable to care for them, and they were getting thin and sick, so he surrendered them to us so we could make them well and find them lovely homes. Romeo is currently in foster care in Elliott.

Being a strong and vigorous little pup, with good vet care and tucker, Romeo bounced back really quickly . Now he is healthy and growing well, with a beautiful glossy coat. He is a really lively and playful pup, who loves his walks and swims. He is very confident with the big dogs too, and has very good dog manners in general. Romeo really enjoys playing with the local kids who visit, and is nice and calm meeting new people. He is a really confident outgoing little man.

Romeo will do well with a good walk each day, ideally with some time off leash. He is experienced off leash , doesn't go to far away, and will come when he is called. He is looking for a home where they will have plenty of company and stimulation, including lots of toys. Romeo will just make an excellent family pet.

Our rescue and rehabilitation work happens in Central Australia, but because of the scarcity of adoptees locally, our re-homing operation is in South Australia. Romeo's adoption fee includes crate hire, courier transport by road from Tennant Creek to Alice Springs, and a direct flight from Alice Springs to Adelaide.
