About phoebe
What a great dog she has turned out to be.
So happy and playful. When we first got phoebe, she was on the timid side. Quite afraid of rough play, not sure what was going to happen to her if she came to you so she wouldn't. When the other dogs in foster came she would sit back and wait. Sometimes she would hide in the bushes almost waiting until it was safe to come out.
She has been in care for a few months now and is so different.. For a while she wouldn't let anyone come into the yard. She would bark and back up.. She still can be a little reserved particularly with males she doesn't know but that is getting better.
She just loves going in the car and going for runs in the park, particularly off lead. Her recall is great. She loves the water and swimming although not so much the hose.. She is great with big dogs and small. She is house trained and crate trained and will rarely bark unless there is a reason for it.
This girl would fit into most homes but better with an active couple. She isn't living with cats or children but she is very gentle and has been around children.
Phoebe will need a good size back yard and higher that farm fences.
She has basic commands and is just a very sweet dog.
