Matty

Introducing Matty.
He is a 2 year old greyhound looking for a new forever home.
Matty is a beautiful boy who is quite tall and would possibly be around 40 kilos. He is currently in care with 6 other dogs and gets along with all of them. He is however not small dog, cat or stock friendly. He loves nothing more than doing zoomies around the backyard or just laying around out on the grass. Because of his light colouring his new family will need to keep an eye out for sunburn and because greyhounds are so thin skinned he will need to be inside during extreme weather. He is a very independent dog in the way that he isn't overly cuddly. When he gets excited or nervous he does get a little nippy and for this reason he wont be suited with young children. He is great to walk on lead but his recall needs some work. One good walk a day would suit him then he would laze around for the rest of the day. He loves water and is getting better in the car. He is very playful and loves his toys and balls. He loves the water. He is a wonderful boy full of character and makes us smile every single day with his goofball ways
Matty's new family will need to have some knowledge of greyhounds and must have a good understanding of the current greyhound laws. When Matty first came into care he a few little issues but is improving everyday so he will need ongoing training to continue to thrive.
