About Scarlett
SCARLETT - AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION - TAHMOOR NSW
Scarlett is a beautiful 2 year old female mastiff mix looking for her furever home. Scarlett was saved from the pound in desperate need of an operation, since leaving the pound she has had her op and is currently healing very well. She still has her stitches and these will need to be left in for another two months but it certainly isn’t stopping her!
Scarlett craves human attention, she just can’t get enough of it but shows no sign of separation anxiety. She will give her new family lots and lots of kisses and gets very very excited! She is highly food motivated and adores all her toys. Scarett looovvveeesss water, hoses and her swimming shell. She is great to walk and quite intelligent having picked up her training with her foster mum well. In order to alleviate boredom she will need ongoing training in her new home. Scarlett is well behaved when on lead and in the house. Scarlett is currently living with three doggy brothers and horses with no issues at all however she does seem interested when her horsey friends roll around. Her encounter with the family cat has gone well, albeit they are currently separated and Scarlett does like to sniff the family galahs but then happily walks away.
Scarlett is very doggy social and may even benefit from some flyball activity or chasing and retrieving, even if she does need bribing with treats to give the ball back! :D
Scarlett will need a little more training not to mouth her family and also to stop her current shoe fetish however these little quirks are currently being worked on in her foster home. She is also being taught to play a little more gently with her fur brothers as she gets very excited and is known to bowl them over but they are teaching her not to be so crazy! For this reason Scarlett may not be suited to little kids without a bit more training.
Scarlett is desexed, microchipped, wormed and vaccinated. As previously mentioned she has had surgery and will require her internal stitches to be removed in approx 2 months time. Full details of this can be discussed further by contacting us. Scarlett’s adoption fee is $350, she is currently fostered in the Wollondilly area.
