About Samson ~ terrier x ~ senior boy (On Trial 16/3/17)
Samson is a male Terrier X, no disputing that. He is estimated to be aged between 5 and 10, but he has no grey hairs and doesn't act like a senior - he is very active and loves to play. So let's average him at 7 years old. Samson is unique boy, with long legs, a wiry body, a funny little face and a massive heart. This munchkin loves attention, cuddles and wants to be near you always.
Samson isn't interested in children or big dogs but he loves to play with dogs his own size and soft toys. He hasn't been tested with cats or pocket pets. He can escape through the smallest opening, but once he is familiar with your home, he won't go far and will sit at the front door waiting for you.
Samson loves car rides. He is an inside dog. He has learnt to use a doggie door and mostly will tell you when he needs to go outside.
Samson needs someone who will take the time to continue his training and appreciate this lovely babe for his idiosyncrasies. Once this boy gives you his heart, he will never let it go.
For more information or to meet Samson, please contact his foster carer Doreen by email (preferred) to Doreen.newton2@bigpond.com or SMS 0407 721 759. Samson is in foster care in Singleton, NSW (west of Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Samson's adoption fee is $200 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
